Today I had my pacemaker fitted by dr Grosser.I was very nervous about having this procedure,however should not have worried at all. I was admitted about 8.15,walked into theatre at 9.15,was out of theatre at 10.45 then home around 3.30 pm. Dr Grosser was fantastic throughout what a change from some surgeons,he listens puts you at ease,is very calm and has a fantastic sense of humour. During my procedure I didn't know what to expect as I knew I would be awake throughout.Dr Grosser had me at ease throughout by chatting to me.I felt a slight tugging sensation but NO pain what so ever,I have had worst experiences at the dentist! I would like to thank dr Grosser and if I have to have any type of heart surgery in the future will be requesting he performs it and will recommend to anyone else needing this type of surgery to do the same. What a lovely caring gentleman.
