Dr Griffiths did my general anaesthetic at the Nuffield Manor a few days ago and I was very impressed with the service from start to finish. I was little bit anxious and he put me at my ease very quickly. Felt entirely confident after he answered my questions and after I walked into the anaesthetic room I felt in very safe hands with him and his team and I was asleep very quickly. Felt absolutely fabulous when I woke up. The best I’ve ever felt and I’ve had a few General anaesthetics. A little bit of nausea that was dealt with by the nurse very quickly. He came to see me a couple of hours later when I was leaving And answered my questions again very thoroughly.

Dr Griffiths displayed both the technical skills of medicine and anaesthesia and also good non technical skills of listening to patient requests, good communication with his colleagues and patient alike and acting upon the information discussed pre-op. He clearly had a good rapport with his colleagues and encouraged open communication with them. I felt assured that he had the nursing team were well placed to deal with both the anticipated workload and also unexpected curve balls thrown at them.
