I have been fortunate enough to meet Dr Griffiths on two occasions now. Firstly, with our daughter last year who needed surgery. It was her first hospital experience and understandably she was pretty terrified at the thought of it! Well, she needn't have worried, within 5 minutes of meeting Dr Griffiths he had totally put her at ease, so much so that they were both chatting and laughing like old friends. I too was fortunate enough to have Dr Griffiths for a recent procedure. Again, his professionalism, attention to detail, care and consideration (both before and after the operation) was simply first class. It has been a privilege to cross paths. Thank you Dr G.

As part of a week long transplant assessment, my wife & I met Dr John Griffiths today for a CPET assessment. He immediately put me at ease and explained the procedure in full. He was extremely encouraging throughout and went through my results at the end of the procedure. What stands out about Dr Griffiths is he’s personable, warm and positive attitude. He was genuinely interested in my disease and journey so far. My wife commented that Dr Griffiths is probably the nicest consultant we have ever met! Thank you for your time today, you are a credit to the NHS.

Dr Griffiths was fantastic with respect to my recent operation. His clear, concise, empathic & caring approach was really appreciated in developing a customised plan before my operation. After the operation he then followed up multiple times to ensure everything was progressing well. Given my complicated medical history his professionalism and attention to detail was just what I needed to make me feel comfortable and in a safe pair of hands. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Griffiths.
