I was very nervous and went into surgery with trepidation. It was also very reassuring that he came to fetch my husband and I from my previous appointment. He was very clear in explaining what he was going to do and how it contributed to the whole team preparing for my surgery. He clearly had a very sophisticated approach and equipment which produced a proper analysis of my condition. He was responsive to questions and very quick, clear and reassuring in his responses. He was fully part of the operating team. I left feeling I had complete confidence in him.

John Griffiths was very caring and with patience he enquired about my health at length, and gave enough time for me to express my concerns too. After that he explained about the options for Anaesthesia for my TURP procedure by Simon Brewster.He explained the risks, at the same time he said he would safely take me through spinal anaesthesia. My experience was so unbelievably comfortable and I woke up in recovery, feeling good and I had no complications whatsoever . Considering that i am an 81 year old with IHD, Atrial fibrillation, mild CCF, COPD. I am ever so grateful for his care and the confidence he gave me before and after the procedures. He is very skilled Consultant Anaesthetist and I am very fortunate to have had his services. I have no hesitation to recommend him to anyone looking for highly skilled caring Anaesthetist. He is absolutely great. I wish him well.
