I saw Dr Bano at Spire London East hospital. She was very pleasant, warm and professional. She made me feel at ease. She is an excellent gynecologist, she listened to me, while I explained my worries and fears concerning my prolapse. She explained what the issue was and what needed to be done. She was able to fix the right pessary that I needed and also offered to change it if need be at no cost. I intend to follow up and I will highly recommend her to anyone in need of an excellent gynecologist.

I was referred for a colposcopy. Dr Bano was very accommodating in making the appointment and was very communicative in arranging it and also afterwards. I felt nervous and unwell during the procedure due to nerves. She was very reassuring. She explained things to me in detail throughout and during telephone conversations after. She was thorough in performing medical tests. Thank you Farida

I am a consultant gynaecologist and obstetrician at Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust. I am a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and a member of The British Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (BSCCP). I am an accredited colposcopist and a trainer.
I have a wide range of expertise in all aspects of gynaecology providing high quality care to women with general gynaecological conditions including colposcopy, urogynaecology, vaginal surgery, menstrual disorders, contraception, menopause/HRT and pelvic pain. I have published widely within the obstetrics and gynaecology peer reviewed literature throughout my career and frequently present my work in international and national medical conferences.
I have a wide range of expertise in all aspects of gynaecology providing high quality care to women with general gynaecological conditions including Minimal access surgery (laparoscopic and hysteroscopic procedures including out-patient hysteroscopies), colposcopy, vaginal surgery, prolapse repair/pelvic floor repair, menstrual disorders, contraception, menopause/HRT and pelvic pain.
