I wish all doctors had the same time and concern that Dr Bano displayed. I am very pleased to have been put under her care. I am very grateful to her for fully explaining what my problem was, and her sympathy with the condition. i came away from both visits to her surgery very happy.

I recieved great care from this kind, understanding doctor.
Dr Bano, showed great empathy and knowledge about endometriosis and made my appointments less daunting, and my treatment a lot easier to go through.

Very friendly lady. Listens to you and doesn't pressure you into something that you do not want. Very professional when carrying out Hysteroscopy. Described everything that was happening and very gentle.

I am a consultant gynaecologist and obstetrician at Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust. I am a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and a member of The British Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (BSCCP). I am an accredited colposcopist and a trainer.
I have a wide range of expertise in all aspects of gynaecology providing high quality care to women with general gynaecological conditions including colposcopy, urogynaecology, vaginal surgery, menstrual disorders, contraception, menopause/HRT and pelvic pain. I have published widely within the obstetrics and gynaecology peer reviewed literature throughout my career and frequently present my work in international and national medical conferences.
I have a wide range of expertise in all aspects of gynaecology providing high quality care to women with general gynaecological conditions including Minimal access surgery (laparoscopic and hysteroscopic procedures including out-patient hysteroscopies), colposcopy, vaginal surgery, prolapse repair/pelvic floor repair, menstrual disorders, contraception, menopause/HRT and pelvic pain.
