She has great patience for me as I was stressed and caused to be late because the lifts in the hospital were not working. Dr Bano was very gentle and showed great empathy to me.
I am 84 and have many difficulties with my walking and strength.. The Doctor and nurses were very kind and patient for me.. I,d like to thank them very much for their professional care.

Dr Bano was very pleasant and listened to my worries. Thankfully after an Ultrasound scan because of a previous problem I had it was found I had no more problems.
Dr Bano was very caring and if in the future (hopefully not) I have any Gynae problems I would wish to see her

I am a consultant gynaecologist and obstetrician at Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust. I am a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and a member of The British Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (BSCCP). I am an accredited colposcopist and a trainer.
I have a wide range of expertise in all aspects of gynaecology providing high quality care to women with general gynaecological conditions including colposcopy, urogynaecology, vaginal surgery, menstrual disorders, contraception, menopause/HRT and pelvic pain. I have published widely within the obstetrics and gynaecology peer reviewed literature throughout my career and frequently present my work in international and national medical conferences.
I have a wide range of expertise in all aspects of gynaecology providing high quality care to women with general gynaecological conditions including Minimal access surgery (laparoscopic and hysteroscopic procedures including out-patient hysteroscopies), colposcopy, vaginal surgery, prolapse repair/pelvic floor repair, menstrual disorders, contraception, menopause/HRT and pelvic pain.
