My appointment was with Dr Bano on 10th March. I found her very kind and professional. I was very nervous at the start of the examination but she patiently talked me through it telling me exactly what was happening, she definitely put me at my ease.

Dr Bano was really nice and helpful.She kept me informed all the way about my results and what they meant. She gave me my results from the first scan and let me know the reason why she was carrying out the proceedure. She was carefuland efficient at the actual proceedure itself and I didnt even realise she had finished as she was so deft at the insertion of the equipment - speculum and camera. I came away so relieved as she gave me the results there and then and showed me my womb on the x ray. Also she put my mind at rest about fibroids telling me they shrink in menopause. All in all a very positive experience.

Dr Bano was an extremely approachable doctor and I felt at ease with her straight away.
I found her to be very thorough when dealing with my Subtotal Hysterectomy and would recommend her to any woman who has any gynaecological problems and thank you for giving me my life back x

I am a consultant gynaecologist and obstetrician at Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust. I am a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and a member of The British Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (BSCCP). I am an accredited colposcopist and a trainer.
I have a wide range of expertise in all aspects of gynaecology providing high quality care to women with general gynaecological conditions including colposcopy, urogynaecology, vaginal surgery, menstrual disorders, contraception, menopause/HRT and pelvic pain. I have published widely within the obstetrics and gynaecology peer reviewed literature throughout my career and frequently present my work in international and national medical conferences.
I have a wide range of expertise in all aspects of gynaecology providing high quality care to women with general gynaecological conditions including Minimal access surgery (laparoscopic and hysteroscopic procedures including out-patient hysteroscopies), colposcopy, vaginal surgery, prolapse repair/pelvic floor repair, menstrual disorders, contraception, menopause/HRT and pelvic pain.
