Dr. Moscrop has shown consistent kindness, empathy, excellent medical knowledge and compassion in becoming my GP in unfortunate circumstances as I have 3c ovarian cancer. My previous GP retired a few weeks after my shock diagnosis and I chose him despite being assigned a random other Doctor because, having seen him a couple of times previously,I was very impressed with his paying full attention to me and being genuinely helpful. His strength of character is embodied in many ways: modestly admitting if/when he is unsure on complex cancer issues and then accessing the relevant information with impressive efficiency.Plus his attention to detail and follow ups without needing to be asked. We share the same attitudes on several humanitarian topics ( I have read some of his scholarly articles ) and that makes me feel I am dealing with someone who respects others without being patronising. He has a very even temperament which is really reassuring and soothing. He does not clock watch nor get cross when I go on too much ( chemo brain!!) . I always feel I could trust him implicitly and despite being potentially terminally ill am uplifted after every consultation. An all round 10/10
