I had a prebooked appointment to discuss my hypertension as I was unhappy about the ingredients (sodium lauryl sulphate) and some of the side affects of one of the two tablets I was prescribed two years ago. In the short time allotted we managed to keep up with each other for whilst she printed off a repeat prescriptions I highlighted other unrelated problems. She was very receptive and taking Dr Grimston's advice I will follow up with her in a few weeks time when I hope my BP will be lower with exercise and breathing techniques. Once I get a ballpark figure on my BP readings, I am going to take a proven natural herbal substance (I have knowledge of the ingredients) on a daily basis to see if I can hopefully continue make progress. I purchased a new BP monitor and can report that in just three days both systolic and diastolic pressures have gone down considerably. Dr Grimston helped me three years ago when I discussed the ramifications of taking a water tablet (which I am no longer on) and I remain impressed by her knowledge and the kindness and caring attitude she has had on both occasions. I shall happily consult her again in the very near future.
