Given a sudden and significant health change which could not be forecast Dr Mayat faced a "catch-up" situation and quickly moved to send me to an appropriate consultant to control and manage the situation. On other matters when consulted I found a good level of interest and concern. Additionally the idea of Dr Mayat's "Self help guide" developed over time has proved helpful and time saving having not to trawl the internet for information and/or guidance. Some tend to be dismissive of the guide - I found it helpful. Dr Mayat has been my doctor since his arrival at the practice.
