I've just completed my titration period for ADHD medication with Dr Mashru at Psychiatry UK, and wrapped things up at our followup appointment. I'm so pleased to say that the medication and treatment has genuinely changed my life, it's been one of the best things I've done for myself in years. I went through the diagnosis and titration process privately via Psychiatry-UK. Although I opted for the private route, the cost was worth every penny. My initial consultation was arranged in a matter of days. Replies to any queries were very quickly answered, and the pharmacy were friendly and quick. Kate Bevan, the nurse handling my titration period, was extremely helpful and answered all my questions. The next step will be to enter in to Shared Care with my GP, after which I can say I should be all sorted! Thanks once again Dr Mashru, Kate, and Psychiatry-UK — your service has affected me positively in so many ways. For anyone else with doubts about taking this path, my experience has been nothing but perfect from start to finish. Thank you!

The process is really simple and easy and I feel incredibly looked after. It's amazing that the cost of the consultation and everything involved is comparatively more affordable, and as a result I've been able to get help for a condition that I was unable to be seen for through the NHS. Without Psyschiatry-UK I could not have afforded to go private. I have already recommended 2 friends and will be pushing them to book their consultations ASAP. I was also recommended by a friend who had a great experience.

The clinic is entirely online which saves a lot of time and hassle with no real disadvantage as far as I can see. Fairly well-composed website, fairly quick to get in touch with on the phone (especially in the evening). Online portal is very useful despite being a bit of a faff to login with secondary verification. Admin and doctors alike respond promptly to messages via the portal. Highly recommend!

I was quite concerned and deliberated for some time over whether to use this service or not. The entire process including titration costs about half of what it would cost for just the initial assessment in my area so I wasn't sure beforehand if it was a good idea. Overall it was a great experience. Both of the medical professionals I dealt with were great, and the whole process was really easy. Mostly the service was automated online but I also felt I could reach out to the admin if there were any issues. The only ones I had were a minor hiccup with the web portal, but again, it was sorted quickly. Overall this is probably one of the best decisions I've made for myself and I really recommend it for anyone who's considering it, it truly is worth the money and not having to deal with NHS waiting lists.

I paid for a private asd assessment. I had nothing but problems with their software, their portal is very basic, unprofessional and has a lot of issues. Their video chat is not secure and doesn't work. Their admin staff and managers do not listen to you, are rude to you. One of their admin staff hung up kn me when I asked to see a manager. They ignore all the case notes you write for days. They caused me such severe stress that I self harmed several times, for which they still have not acknowledged or apologised for. Their psychiatrist wasn't very knowledgeable in autism. He wrote me a very unprofessional, undefiled report Nd included personal stories that I did not give him permission to use or share. I made several complaints to psychiatry UK asking them to change my report, to no avail. It caused me such severe stress and distress that i decided to save myself further trauma and get a full refund as well as compensation for the mental and physical harm caused. Despite knowing full well that I am very fragile and severely stressed they are still insisting on making me wait 15 days to get a response for manager which is absolutely sickening. Do not believe all the fake statements on their website saying how much they care and try to limit distress of patients. This is absolutely untrue. They should not be allowed to practice psychiatry and especially not be allowed anywhere near people with learning disabilities that are already traumatised from medical professionals. Avaoid this company at all costs.
