Making sure this service is always available for face-to-face consultations for all women with concerns. Paula was great as she took the time to listen and identify the problem whilst also eliminating other possible concerns. I was seen on time, and given multiple face-to-face follow up appointments which has made me feel like my medical concern/issue is being investigated thoroughly and putting me at ease.

I'm very grateful to have been pointed in the direction of st.Peters GUM unit. I have been having problems for about three years with it getting worse.in the last year and a half. Unfortunately the GP was woefully inequipt to help. My only inspection was deemed as 'nice and pink inside', so physically i was declared fine and agreed with that its all in my head. I've been so fortunate in that i l've been able to see a sex therapist who pointed me in the direction of Dr Prichard. She was immediately able to diagnose me and i was finally able to start fixing the physical problem. Seeing Paula Chaplin today was just a lovely reminder of how wonderful she and the whole unit is. I have never felt so heard in my life! I dint think id fully realised.how much i never expected to be taken 100% seriously. So now not only are they solving my distressing problem but also being actually forward thinking and booking me in to have new birth controll fitted by people who understand and are willing to prevent me feeling super anxious and distressed by the whole process given my history. So All in all i cant express how grateful i am for this unit and i wish every woman was able to access this amazing level of care.

Paula made me feel soo comfortable. After having been suffering for so long she was the light at the end of the tunnel. It’s as though she wouldn’t stop at anything for her patients and she gives time, empathy and understanding of medical problems which can be very emotive. She is able to provide soo many options and suggestions to help. I am very grateful to have been referred to her.
