The care, pleasantness and the professionalism of all the staff.
Sympathy and empathy - what more could one ask for? I have been treated with great kindness and Kate the cleaner was very assuring and always hada cheerful word for me. The nurses were always ready to help.
Will with thanks.
Good : 1) Glyndwr's staff are very good.
2) The quiet restful atmosphereof the ward is excellent for recovery.
Possible improvement : 1) Seeing the same staff each day would help.
2) The reliance on agency nursing is regrettable and the resources should be used to strength the hospital own staff.
3) Test results are slow coming through.
Attention to care needs was excellent.
On going communication liked to patients development.
The support at night was very good with breastfeeding and also helping to settle the baby so i could get some much needed rest.
Call bells were answered very quickly at all times and staff were very helpful even though they are very busy.
The food could be improved. The day I came to the ward, there was very limited selection of food which is very important when you have been through labour and trying to breastfeeding. I was also not provided with water or advised to keep funds up which I think is basic but important.
