I am writing on behalf of my taid who was admitted here a couple of months ago. Minority of staff (Angela, April, Amy, Bethan) couldn't fault - lovely. Majority need to remember that their patients are someone's father/mother/husband/wife and treat them with more respect. The sisters should lead by example. They need to remember that compassion and care is part of their job description. Took no notice of special requirements (e.g. Help with eating) as a result of not doing this my taid lost a considerable amount of weight. No communication between the staff or their patients and discharge procedures were very poor!! Would hope that my taid never has to return here, he was cared for better at home!
