Found the care to be extremely good on the post natal ward. I was eager to breastfeed and found the midwifery support workers a great source of support and advice in achieving my goal. I was very lucky as I had a number of midwives looking after me in straight succession which improved the continuity of care. 2 midwives in particular were fantastic! They were so supportive and helpful especially when I was struggling to feed and emotional. They gave me the courage to continue.
