All of the staff I was treated/helped by had an extremely friendly, happy attitude and were very approachable. There seemed to be a great team atmosphere and that came across to myself as a patient. My requests were only ever simple, such as a wheelchair to get to the toilet, but always dealt with quickly. It's not a complaint, but an area that could perhaps be improved was the information I received upon my discharge. A form or letter stating what operation actually took place along with information on the next steps and what will happen e.g., 'weight bearing 'heel only' for x amount of time then return in x weeks for e.g. stitches out. This is because I got conflicting information from the nurse and physio, who rightly checked for the correct answer with my surgeon. I do appreciate time is precious and do not wish to create paperwork but feel a simple ticklist form for the patient to keep will then be a clear record of information passed on for both parties to keep. This problem in no way clouded what was great treatment I received. Thank you.
