The care from the doctor when we were finally seen was okay.

I phoned 111 who said they had made an appointment for me at Witney MIU. When we turned up at the MIU. the staff didn’t know anything about the appointment. I was treated as though I was lying. The GP on duty was talking very loudly about people trying to jump the GP queue and pretending that they had called 111, clearly referring to me. I was kept waiting for nearly three hours, seeing many patients come and go after I arrived, until I was the very last patient, even though I was bleeding heavily from a burst haematoma, and I then had to be taken to the emergency surgical unit at the John Radcliffe Hospital. I was treated like a liar and someone trying to game the system.
