The unit is modern, clean and efficient and the staff considerate and helpful. The procedure was carried out with thoroughness and professionally very good.
My only riggles is the sense of excess pressure in completing the preliminary professional, you can feel rushed.
Also why does it have to be "great" care; good or excellent would be better.
Excellent no problems.
Everything was good.
Except: (staff excellent).
- The bed linen nobody changes if dirty. I ask for 2 sheets. I had to take them myself from the trolley next day.
- The food dry and burn in an day.
- The floor under beds dirty.
The vast majority of staff were excellent, particulalrly Sheila, Katie, Virginia and Amy.
They are very caring and attentive and the major problem with the ward is the fact that partners are not allowed to stay overnight. This caused me very serious problems with established breastfeeding because I was essentially left without support at night. There was a long delay in answering the buzzer at night.
Punctual, polite staff. Long wait for appointment. First appointment cancelled.
Very helpful staff, waiting time could be reduced had no wait 30 mins.
