I cannot express my gratitude enough,
I have a long history with hospitalisation with my late father.
At which nearly ever turn was a fight to get the care he needed.
When my mother was admitted for the first time at 75, I was very worried.
The care and compassion she received I cannot rate high enough.
I had no worries at all about her care the stress was taken off my head.
The nurses and doctors were all amazing and you never felt you was a pain.
When me mother was discharged she actually got a little upset as she had had such a wonderful experience.
Thank you thank you thank you to all the wonderful team.

I don’t ever want to come back here
I arrived at the hospital on Sunday 24th at 1am and have terrible care, I am still waiting for a bed and it’s monday 6:30pm. I had a double bypass on the 14th of April and I was told multiple times to rest. However this situation at the hospital has made me uncomfortable, tired and very stressed as I have not slept for more than 36hrs due to the conditions in this hospital.
Everyone is so helpful and works as a team, except for one nurse named Cami at the Major trauma unit. I was down with covid high grade fever, coughs, body pain and I was in deep sleep at 23:00 she barge in to my room opened a swab and stuck it deep in my nose this woke me up irritated and I have a massive sneezing fit that made me have a splitting head ached. I had to grab her hand to stop her after which I asked her if I could get some water to recover from that. She just left the room. In the morning my nurse asked nurse cami to pass her pillow cases since initially there were none available. She asked Nurse Cami if she could please pass her two if linens have arrived already she. I understand why my nurse asked for help coz she needs to doff off and on again. She came to the door on my room pulling a tantrum on why does everyone ask for her help which is not true because nurse tracy is helping my nurse she didn't complain at all. As a healthcare professionals, this nurse cami should reflect and evaluate on her values and behaviours.
Too much waiting, the toilets were disgusting, no toilet paper at all.
