Staff are good - like Jennifer who help everyone. Laura is also very good, they are there when you need them. They both should get an award for there help. There are spiders on the ward, better cleaning is needed.
Redefine unit!!!
Present in honest light!!
Medication Medication, needs a 2 way mechanism of care.
Individual treated, people treated individually which is done. The therapeutic side provides good distraction and I can complete tasks. The radio/music I enjoy.
I would like to have my dinner in my room.
Supportive staff
I have received excellent care. Everyone is totally dedicated and has my best interested at heart. I have really enjoyed the art room. I have seen amazing, creative works of art there. My only criticism is sometimes lack of communication about my care is progressing.
You can improve on more communication between patients and healthcare people. Sometimes you feel no one is listening to you.
I a man treated like a person, not just a number. The cleaness of the ward is immaculate and the bedding really clean and the bedrooms are really are really nice and have everything you need in them. The activities room is very very well equipped and if they do not have what you require by the next day it’s there. A wide range of activities on the ward, and the staff seem to always know when you need time with them too. Although I do not want to be admitted I always know I get wonderful care and treatment and the whole team work so hard in getting me back to me.
Variety of care and understanding.
Clean.
Such nice comfortable people.
What was good about my care? Having the right Support around me.
An efficient and compassionate service which has restored my mental health after an upsetting episode. Excellent facilities, including splendid food and high standards of cleanliness. I found the activities arranged by the Occupational Therapist (Laurent) especially helpful, as his cheerful personality really helped to lift my mood, and it was great to be kept busy.
My family and I are extremely grateful that such a service was available to us via the NHS, and wish to thank all the staff who do such splendid work in often very difficult circumstances.
