Brilliant care from the staff and doctors on my stay. Helped me with my illness and talked to me when I was down. Helped me to get back on my feet and back home.
My interaction with Luke Broadbent and the Recovery College has been excellent. My contact with Dr Welchew has been good. The only part of the service to let me down has been Dr Graham Wise, who has been very slow to contact me. This has lead to pressure from my family which has increased my stress and anxiety.
The whole team is dedicated and caring and I found the whole experience to be a comforting and caring environment. Everyone here is a credit to the NHS.
The staff and everything is great. Can’t believe this place is so clean. The matron is on top of everything.
However, at nights I want my cigarette and because I am in hospital I can’t have this. So I am on nrt replacement. But when I ask for this I don’t get it.
My husband and I spoke with the matron about this. She said she will discuss it with the nurses. And I should get it from now on, if the nurses refused to give this to me, they must record why in my notes, and tell me why.
I am not crazy, my head feels like scrambled eggs sometimes, mainly at nights
Amber ward is well run but the staff are sometimes very busy with one to one care.
Greatly appreciated the care I had received
Mary, Editor, Smart and Elisha, I give great appreciation to these staff for the service they give me. From Maurice.
I would recommend this ward and its staff to patients. My personal experience was a good stay for a few days, when there has been a need for myself to stay for a few days. The staff were kind and caring.
Just testing
Felt like I was in prison, no leave and stuck in here. Force to take medication, but was not ill.
