Share review of The Manor Hospital, Oxford
The hospital entrance was very impressive and receptionists informative.
The ward was a bit dismal, corridors were dull, the windows did not open consequently the recycled air slightly tainted.
The cleaning staff were friendly and efficient, the nurses professional in their manner. Some language difficulties lead to a little confusion at times.
Housekeeping staff lacked knowledge of dietary needs and I was left without clean water- a patient should not need to ask for water or if so should be advised where there is a refill area.
Patients who feel nauseated and lack enthusiasm in eating were offered the menu but no assistance on contents of food.
Despite the ward not been busy, the senior nursing staff were office bound.
Overall as this was my first time as a “private patient,” it was very disappointing.
