I am now a shade over 6 weeks post umbilical hernia operation and feel that my review is best reported now I have seen the results as stands. I was in the trusted hands of Dr Brendan Mcllroy, the whole process from original consult to op day was on top par! Excellent service throughout, fantastic welcoming atmosphere, any questions related were welcome. Professional and courteous nurse team. Treated with respect and dignity. The operation has proved to be a success, regained almost full original walking pace after 4 days! Kept up on walking activities throughout as soon as able, great towards a better recovery. The mesh has appeared to have taken effectively which is fab! Back to the gym at a reasonable pace and all is well! Deep sincere thank you to all the team, even a complimentary courtesy call after a week to check on progress (I know it's their course) But reassuring to know and find out that they do so. I thoroughly recommend anyone wishing to consider Tetbury Hospital to go right ahead! Merry Christmas. Mr C Beard
