Whilst I realise that giving unvaried 5 star responses is a bit boring, I don't really feel I could award less than 5 stars. From my referral by my optician for cataract surgery, everything happened in accordance with the timescale forecast (in spite of the News telling of delays to everything around the country at the time). When I arrived for my initial appointment I was impressed by the kindness of every staff member I met. On the day of the procedure any anxiety was immediately dispelled by the same attitude of calm, kind, competence that I encountered. I've never been so relaxed in a hospital! Everything was clearly explained to me before it happened and I just lay back, relaxed and let the professionals do their work. I am an old lady and so have had hospital treatment before. This was my only visit, to date, at Tetbury and I really cannot praise the team sufficiently. I should add that the procedure went well, was stress-free and I have a follow-up appointment booked for 3 weeks time. My eye has been trouble free and has gone back to seeing BRIGHT colours (Oh Joy!) without the blurring and distortion I had been suffering.
