I went from Xray to A&E, where I occupied a bed for the day, although I was quite capable of sitting in a chair. Would it not be more space-efficient to have a small room where ambulatory patients, waiting for a bed in the Assessment ward, could sit. Perhaps a numbered tag on the wrist would make sure that they were not missed. The staff are exemplary in their care and consideration. I was not amused to be roused from my bed in the Assessment wars, at 10.30pmto be moved to another. My only gripe.
