Everything was followed that was written in my notes which put me at ease whilst in labour and resulted in a much more positive experience than my first born.
Some contradictory advice from maternity support staff, But plenty of contact and options of extra support.
Fast appointment. Friendly staff.
My midwife failed to identify I was breech which in my opinion made my midwife appointments a waste of time (and money in parking) as that was the key part of the appointments that required specialist knowledge. I think it would be good if midwives had the necessary skills to do their jobs.
Due to the breech situation I had to have a cesarian. the surgeon that came to briefly speak to me after the op (whilst I was trying to start breast feed my baby for the first time and whilst having my blood pressure taken) was very rude and abrupt. People skills are just as important as the practical.
I also thought the admin side of the discharge was very inefficient. My test results were misplaced which led to a delay in discharge and also several people having to chase up what was going on rather than one person being able to deal with it.
Appointments should be in the community, not in the hospital.
Bringing extra people into areas where people are sick does not make sense. I am bringing germs into the hospital and taking them away.
Attentive and answered all question efficiently.
Penny is very thorough, always smiling and pleasant. I feel well looked after!
The care was amazing.
The girls couldn't do enough!!
Great experience, see you next time.
had a midwife allocated at first and had to be seen by two other midwives who are covering for her, they tried to have continuity of care.
