I was quite dreading the procedure and using the enema. But the whole experience was much more gentle that I expected. Using the enema was strange but fine, and the procedure although quite uncomfortable at times was totally manageable. From first to last, every member of staff who dealt with me seemed to go out of their way to make things easier for me. I was never made to feel ridiculous or vulnerable, and each of the ladies showed me the greatest consideration. I was glad when the scope was finished, but even more glad to have had the opportunity of such a screening test. I cannot imagine how the staff do that job all day every day, but I am very grateful to them!
