I have given my answers as im not happy with the lack of information i was given regarding cortisone injections for carpal tunnal, i came to appointment they told me they giving me them to help, i felt alot of pain when injected into my left hand excruciating pain and the dr didnt stop carried on. Im now a week on have no feeling in my left middle finger down into my palm i have pains worse then before my hand is now useless and with 3 children this is a harder task then before. I have been told by rheumatology to go back to gp to get reffered to orthopaedic to opereate. Feel like theve dont the damage and now somebody else has to fix it.

Suggested improvements
Better communication, better sympathy. I have been left partially paralysed in my left hand and there is no apology or sympathy from the hospital i think its discusting.

After 3 hours I left as felt so fatigued (I have chronic fatigue syndrome) and poorly. No pain relief as promised and I have multiple health conditions and needed pain relief as the chairs in Casualty were crippling my back. You need to put higher more padded chairs in for disabled people.

Suggested improvements
Pain relief and never got to see a Dr despite it not being busy. Still feel unwell today but couldn’t get in at Drs either.

The staff friendly the ones I met. Was there for over 3 hours, in that time, one person was seen by the doctor, I needed to have stitches, but due to the lack of any information on what time this might happen, at 2:30am I had to leave. Very disappointed in the amount of money that has been pumped in SGH to then be in the same position if ridiculous waiting times as before.

Suggested improvements
Been more informative to the patients that were there. Nobody even had an idea of how long the wait would be. No signs of any doctors. Unfortunately the waiting queue only went down by one whilst I was there. She was a paramedic. Very dissatisfied in whole.

The staff were great.

Suggested improvements
The prescription incident was terrible - firstly it wasn't available to fill anywhere else apart from the hospital pharmacy and secondly when I went there, they couldn't fill it. So then I had to ho back to a&e to get another script. Then I spent two hours trying to fill the script only to have to return as I could only receive half the quantity. All this time my aon was suffering. Terrible experience.

Doctor told me A&E was only for accute cases, my blood pressure at 146 over 133 was bad enough let alone my stomach bloated causing severe pain. Fed up with doctors miss diagnosing me incorrectly and not taking me seriously.

Suggested improvements
Yes, listen to your patients. Best tool a doctor should have is their ears, and yet they don't!
