I was spoken down on and was threatened to have my daughter taken off of me by nicu as i was changing her and it was my first baby and they was very nasty towards me and my family member on the phone heard everything and she was disgusted, i also had just been in labour for 13hours and 59 minutes having no sleep for three days and was a very traumatic birth and they wouldn’t help me after i had given birth to my daughter, i felt as if i was let down by the maternity ward in general when i have had my daughter certainly would not be returning to scunthorpe hospital again if i was in labour, as a young mum who’s trying the treatment i had whilst there was disgusting.
Very poor service been backwards forwards to be fobbed off all the time to end up back up there.
After going into emergency A&E for the first time was very impressed with the care and how I was treated with chest pains even though it was not what I thought it was ( suspected heart attack ) . I was treated with dignity and care at all times .
All staff were v. Good and totally carding. They all were obviously v. busy but they took time while seeing to me.
Stressful as soon as you arrive because the parking is horrendous. Drove round for 20 minutes and had to park a very long way from the entrance for A&E. Not ideal when you nwell.
Overall everything was ok but I did feel that the poor nurse from the stroke unit was left with too big a work load for one person and the drs didn’t care for her well being.
The amazing thing I couldn’t understand was that there was no water fountain in the initial waiting area, jugs are not ideal in the current climate.
Absolutely fantastic care and great staff
My stay was very good l felt safe and everyone was very polite and helpful thank you to them all
Treated by excellent and professional staff. Felt comfortable throughout my treatment. Thank you.
My daughter was very well looked after, they took all her needs into consideration and the nurses went above and beyond to make her as comfortable as possible while administering her medication. My daughter felt safe and respected at all times.
Very kind and caring doctors and nurses and kept informed of what they were doing..seemed more organised than what it used to be
