All the staff on the gynaecologist ward were lovely very helpful sorted anything that I needed easy to talk to. The blinds were closed when ever they needed to be always checking that I was okay. They went through everything explained what they needed too.

Suggested improvements
Being on a ward that is suitable for gynaecology would of been the most appropriate . I had a stay over on the ward where there is older people that are very ill it was very distressing in a already sad situation. Being woken up throughout the night. The lack of sleep caused unnecessary stress which is not what I needed. Talking to staff they said they had there own ward taken away from them which from a someone who has been threw a miscarriage would of been much nicer. My partner wasn’t allowed onto the ward to stay with me in that stressful situation. They explain that on there old ward I would of had my own room where my partner could of stayed with me. I also had a bad experience with a lady at the A&E desk she was very abrupt didn’t listen properly to my checking in details wrote on my notes that I had a termination!!!! When I hadn’t I had a missed miscarriage which obviously got passed on to staff on the gynaecologist ward and the poor nurse was talking to me about my situation and was saying that I’d had a termination which upset me as I wouldn’t terminate a pregnancy then this probably made the poor nurse uncomfortable as well.
