All the staff including theatre staff and porters were kind and friendly, but profesional. The admin staff were also very helpful, including my pre admission telephone calls

Suggested improvements
My pre admission appointment was somewhat disjointed and long. Although the staff were very nice I don't think the day case unit was the usual place for pre admission appointments, and thus they were not familiar with the routine. I was last on the theatre list and did not go for surgery until 3.30pm not having had a drink since 9am, so I was very thirsty . The communication should have been better between theatre and the ward knowing that the list was running late

Since I have been here. I have been poked/ provided. I was sleeping nicely, the nurse put on a nebuliser mask on wihout asking.

Gain consent before putting O2 on./nDay team have been better than night team overall.

Very large ward, and sometimes not enough staff to run it safely, no able to make drinks having to ask staff for a cup of tea. So busy not really felt able to do that not responding in buzzers for a long time.

Suggested improvements
A kitchen that patients, could make themselves a drink more staff on ward.
