Everything like clockwork all staff very careful kind and caring a wonderful commandship between staff and patients very well looked after.
1) Whilst I appreciate there are a lot of patients to care for I think 30 minutes on waiting for a response to pressuring the buzzer is too long /n2) Main concern is having to wait for over an hour ( was told 30 minutes) for oral pain homogenous when the pain was excruciating./n3) given a bed pain (without the plastic base) so it broke and urine everywhere necessitating a change of lines and my clothes that were fresh on.
Entire team were excellent, treating me with utmost care, compassion and friendliness./nIt is very apparent that the team all work extremely well together as one happy, professional unit.
Felt very nauseous post-up, I had only had a drink of water at 6:30 am and vomited up sips of fluid post-up. Asked for liquids, at 7 pm. Transferred from ward 10 to 11 at 8 pm. Asked for fluids to be put on drip stand but this did not happen until 9 om due to nursing handover, where it emerged fluid being was still completely full and had not been started yet.
Well, I feel the service was very well provided./nExcellent!!
