I was induced at LGI via ARM. We received great care in the assessment centre, though we were waiting around on the ward all day before the induction took place and it wasn't clear why (when we went up to delivery suite they said they hadn't been particularly busy). Our midwife in delivery suite was absolutely fantastic, she read through our birth preferences and did her utmost to give us the birth we wanted (which was extremely important to us after a traumatic experience with our previous birth at a different hospital). She was really friendly and reassuring and put us at ease straight away and luckily everything went to plan. The postnatal ward was noisy and it did seem to take a long time to get us discharged. I liked that you could help yourself to toast and tea (though it would have been useful for someone to tell me this as breakfast time came and went and I was starving!). The staff were all lovely and helpful though.
