The food was a lot better than my previous birth (7/9/12). The midwifes on the ward were very good and this time were not insistent on "breast is best" and were very good at encouraging you to but not showing to disapprove if you couldn't and would give other good suggestions. The help on the ward by one of the young student midwifes was very good ( she was working nights, sorry don't know her name). All in all I thought it was a far better experience in Jan 14 than it was in Sept 12 and would like to thank all the midwifes on the ward and also the Antenatal ward i was on 3 days previous.
