I have no faith or cultural needs.

Suggested improvements
Ucat is absolutly dreadful, they need to sort it out. I was referred to them for the weekend as needed extra support, tbh I would have got more help out of a chocolate teapot- it was down to my friends and family to keep me safe. I saw them 1 a day for 20 mins ( I have recording of second day of the conversation). The asked me how I was, my response was I’m not good struggling (been referred to them due to wanting and still wanting to die) still feeling rly suicidal. They didn’t even acknowledge it, for the rest of the time they were with me on both times, we discussed everything (baking, tv shows, photos, my cats etc anything but my mental health). They then left and I didn’t hear from them until they come out at the next day- I was them informed by them that I would b referred back to pcart and that I and my mum( she requested it) would be contacted on the Monday, that never happens, I did not hear from them until my appointment with my therapist on Tuesday ( she is amazing, kind, a good listener, doesn’t judge me, one of the best memeber of staff u have- u need more like her). During the conversation with ucat when asked about my Christmas and how it went, on the Saturday I replied not good as my Nan passed away, the male that attended my address completly ignored my response. I felt worse after they left- everything was very intense, due to them I ended up self harming- it was then left to my friend to calm me down as I was a mess. I’m my opnion they are useless, and a waste of time, they left me in a worse place and a complete mess- I WILL NOT EVER work with them again !! Also the rule in DBT “ that if u self harm u can not have support” is such a stupid rule and needs to go as I’m being punished for using this coping skill when nothing else works. Also the crisis house needs to stop discriminating against those who smoke cannabis.

Response from Isebrook Hospital

I am very sorry you felt the input was unhelpful. Daily visits is usual for the team and how it works , we would expect them to last as long as is necessary to review and monitor your mental health.
