Love this hospital.
Can not thank all the staff at Hull Royal on ward 4 and 40 all brilliant I came from scarborough hospital wich is my home town and had the worst experience ever if only I could come to Hull every time would deffiently reccomed this hospital
I felt secure and reassured by the attentiveness and personal care by all the nursing staff and doctors and all the people who served food and cleaned on ward 4 and ward 40. Unfortunately plumbing problems in the men's toilet on ward 4 meant that they had to share the ladies toilet which was not clean at times due to mishaps by the men and had to be cleaned by the nursing staff. At times like this extra cleaning staff should be more available so that the nurses should be free to carry on with their duties.
I was given the most fantastic treatment I could ever have hoped for.
Thank you.
A fine hospital staff from top to bottom. I was more impressed with the 'service' than I had imagined I would be. Commitment, knowledge, level of professionalism, bedside manner and interpersonal skills were second to none. I was only disappointed that I did not have the opportunity to express my thanks to all of those who had been involved in my surgery and subsequent nursing.
I have only one criticism, and that relates to the cleanliness of the ward floor, which held various items of debris throughout the several days I was in HRI. I must assert that this was the only thing which I wish to draw to your attention. EVERYTHING ELSE WAS FIRST CLASS.
I was well looked after on ward 4 by all members of staff with dignity and care there an amazing team on ward 4 even the cleaners and catering staff are lovely people.
from consultants to cleaners, outstanding care and empathy at a very difficult time, ward 12 gets a special mention,i was very well cared for, just wish all staff could be recognised for their devotion and hard work, not just pay rises but respect, they all work extremley hard,Big thanks to paramedics who were patient and kind, another undervalued profession
The hospital needs refurbishing as there is chipped paint and a feeling of being run down. While I was there my ward had to share the men's toilets and bathrooms which resulted in some comments from the men. There also seemed to be a shortage of nurses and they were always rushed and didn't have enough time to spend with patients
I formed a good relationship with Mr.Azrzoglou who spent time explaining things
