I found that with this service you don't just attend your appointments and sit and listen, you are actively involved in your treatment and management, you get what you put in to it. There is always ample leaflets and printed information to help you also with different websites to look at and different foods etc to help. My dedicated dietician I see Pia has been wonderful throughout my attendance, she is professional and constructive, she keeps me focused and positive, and we both look at ways for improvement together, and I don't worry when it is time to be weighed as I know I have achieved what I need to. I find the rest of the department and team very approachable and friendly when I have needed to contact them or when attending an appointment. The only criticism I could mention would be that the clinicians are very understaffed and waiting for an appointment sometimes can be very long and you don't want to loose your enthusiasm if you have to wait a long time for an appointment.
Good service, no improvements needed.
Good advice, calm manner and supportive to me.
