Share review of Highfield Clinical Care Centre
Was recommended for physiotherapy by my GP having lived with arthritis in my hips for many years.
I had been placed on the waiting list for a bi lateral hip replacement but had found it increasingly difficult to deal with pain and lack of mobility.
My physiotherapist, [name removed], was realistic about how much we could reduce pain but set about a programme of strengthening exercises to put me in a better place to deal with recovery from surgery.
These exercises were easy to do at home.
I could feel, and my physiotherapist could see improvement quite quickly.
I was also received a heel lift which has had positive results in standing, walking and posture.
My physiotherapist kept in regular contact via face to face ( during the Corona viruses pandemic ) and by telephone assessment.
Although only surgery will have the long term quality of life change I hope for, I'm delighted with the care and treatment received.
