Everything superb.
The staff couldn’t do enough very kind and helpful.
I felt very comfortable and everyone was so kind, helpful and supportive.
Quick, informative and really restored my faith in the NHS after some bad experiences.
I went for an x-ray on the advice of my GP. I was told that the referral had not been validated so I could not be seen by the X-Ray team. I telephoned my GP who validated the referral immediately. I went back to the desk to explain this was told that the validation had still not come through. My husband and I sat down for a while and then went back to the desk and was told that I could not be seen because the system had gone down. The first time we went back to the desk after not being seen we were told that the GP should not have told me to walk in to the Department today. I explained that this is what I was told to do. My husband pointed out that maybe GPs in the hospital need to improve their communication. We waited again and went back to the desk and was told that the system had gone down so I could not be seen. It's interesting that anyone else who went to the desk was sent through immediately for an x-ray. We left because they were obviously not going to do the x-ray today and asked the Department to telephone when they are actually going to do the x-ray that was requested by my GP.
I was treated better than expected.
Staff were lovely an very reassuring during my stay. I was treated with respect at all times.
