The care I received was good but the service is under funded and to get the appropriate treatment I will have to pay privately

Review of Out-patient Physiotherapy - Jubilee HC written by a patient
23rd November 2016

Getting appointments is a nightmare. You ring up and are told ring back next week because we are not booking appointments. My last appointment to explain scan results were not very helpful. The clinician did not explain fully the next steps for me and led me to believe my next appointment at St Helier hospital would be a 4- 6 week time frame but in actual fact will be a 4 month time frame. In all honesty I cannot understand the point of the last appointment if the clinician is not qualified enough for the next step in treatment. Why am I not directly referred to someone who can give advice on scan results and move my treatment on at a quicker pace. It seems totally time wasting on all parties and I am no nearer getting back to health than when I was first referred by my GP at the end of August.
