One of the most positive aspects of this course is I now am able to walk at a brisk pace for longer than 20min to 30/45 mins non stop, my breathing afterwards is moderate. House work and shopping is easier. Breathin techniques helps to control my breathing. Quality of information and hand out more than adequate.I am confident I would use proper breathing techniques if any difficulty.

The service is very informative and shows users how best to manage COPD. It is reassuring to know what other people's experiences are and the exercises taught there are really beneficial as I find I don't feel so breathless when carrying out some daily living tasks when I've exercised. I like the fact that I can go back if necessary.

Excellent service - in depth explanatory discussion explaining condition of COPD plus ways of coping with condition through different forms of exercise. ABility to use in house gymnasium machines, plus guidelines for exercise outside the gym which has enhanced all physical ability. Would like to see further group sessions with gym equipment on a regular basis perhaps with little or no cost as most were pensioners within our group.
