Continuity of care and a totally holistic approach has been invaluable to me. To have someone who really understands how daily living is important and not look at things in a compartmentalized way and even to make a random phone call to check up on you not only helps on to keep up with the treatment but also massively reduces the feeling of isolation in dealing with my difficult condition. The main thing that needs to be improved is the generic phone number. When one is struggling this is one thing too far. A simple question could sometimes be answered by another member of the team who in fact could be better placed to answer.
