I felt really well supported by my midwife Collette and felt comfortable enough to call her with any questions or concerns. Generally I felt I received a high level of care, personalized to me.
However I did receive a call from the hospital regarding breastfeeding which I didn't feel was personalized. I've been feeding my son for 2.5 hours and currently handling feeding with newborn so felt some of the information wasn't relevant. I opted out of these calls but would have preferred to be given option to receive them in the first place.
Monitoring of baby when deemed small. No circulation of scans to check.
Reassurance from midwife that if anything is wrong you must ring PAU not matter how big or small.
Really friendly. Felt comfortable to ask any questions.
Support and information given by midwives is very good.
Good:
Hospital treatment, parent craft classes free. Free prescriptions.
Great support and phone calls to check. Lovely midwives.
Making sure I was cared for in right way.
Make sure your well looked after and always listen.
Lovely friendly staff, warm comfortable environment.
Longer appointments could improve the waiting times.
