Could always rely on being cared for correctly. Always extremely helpful and kind.
Fantastic care received.
Highly recommend.
Kind and friendly staff.
Only improvement is that it would be better to see the same member of staff at all appointments so that a trust relationship can be built.
Everything was perfect. Staff was informative and responded every questions we asked in detail. They gave us trust in terms of their care. Nothing comes to mind to improve it further. Thanks for such a good care.
Good to be able to ring up and know when the midwife is likely to be coming. Really helpful to be able to ask lots of different questions and be reassured of any concerns I had.
Miscommunication from the RVI could have been improved, however acknowledged this couldn't have been avoided on Durham's end!
All very kind and helpful.
The midwifery team were excellent, in particular Jayne and Laura. They were really positive about the home birth and supportive in making it happen, great communication and responsiveness. Also the delivery midwives were great.
The support this time was much improved on my experiences two years ago - thanks to all of the team involved.
I was supported throughout my pregnancy with my decision to have a home birth and I felt well informed and prepared. The home birth itself was an amazing experience, I felt completely safe and comfortable.
The midwives attending the birth were both familiar with my baby and took great care to ensure I had the birth I wanted.
After the birth I was able to relax straight away while the midwives sorted everything. I think this enabled me to successfully breastfeed and latch baby so quickly. Overall it was an amazing experience and having had a hospital birth and home birth I wouldn't hesitate to choose to home birth again.
