Both of the midwives I have seen since leaving the hospital have been lovely. They both made me feel as comfortable and at ease as you can be while checking my stitches of how I was healing. They were both reassuring. Alison was also great with my daughter whilst monitoring her jaundice levels always keeping me up to date and explaining what was happening I couldn't fault either of them. However, after phoning the hospital on day 2 due to concerns of possible, infection the midwife I spoke to was lovely and said I'd need a visit to check and she would get in touch with a community midwife to get in touch. The midwife that phoned me wasn't as nice as the others. She was unfriendly and made me feel I was an inconvenience in an already 'very busy day' I was so pleased it wasn't her that came out to see me!
