In the past week I got a string of CC emails and pop-up notices on MyChart cancelling, changing, and confirming various tests and appointments. Reading them all, I got muddled. So we turned up[ an hour early for a pre-operation set of tests. The ECG was quick and efficient but the pre-operative assessment nurse was very busy and a little slow so we has to wait a bit and then my wife had to leave for another appointment.

My appointment was delayed by over an hour because of the team needing to contact my consultant for clarification over what was required. Had these enquiries been made prior to the time of my appointment an answer could have been obtained and there be no hold ups on the day.
