I had an mri at governors place, I was okay until I entered the mri machine then panicked. I felt like I couldn’t do it because I was in tears and shaking from anxiety of being in the machine. It was a very long process before I could calm down but the 2 radiologist helped me so much. Sam stayed with me in throughout and held my leg and the female radiologist advised me to keep my eyes closed. Keeping my eyes closed really helped. Overall they helped me calm down a lot because it wasn’t easy for me. They also gave me the option to do it after getting prescribed medicine to make me feel relaxed or reschedule and do it work general anesthesia. I was allowed to take my time no rush.
Suggested improvements
Maybe if I was told to close my eyes initially o would have helped. Or provided with an eye mask/cover or told to bring one.
