The quality of the audio connection was not as good as it could have been. Video was acceptable.

Check hardware to see if there is any issue with equipment affecting audio quality. The quality was a bit substandard compared with normal Zoom etc these days.

Very happy to be able to see my (long standing) neurologist remotely as it saves me the travel time, so the video link is a net gain for me.
