I have only praise for the high quality treatment I have received from Mr Vashisht, pre op, op and post op. The staff and service in Outpatients have been excellent. My visit to Outpatients was for my Post Op appointment so some of your questions above don’t really apply but you give no option for N/A. I have already communicated my views separately re my stay at the hospital.

Suggested improvements
There is only one incident I would like to make you aware of. On 30th June, late evening, I had an emergency appointment with Dr Pattle. The care from her and her nurse Pia was first class together with the reception staff and porter. It was agreed that your Shuttle bus would take me to the hospital and it duly arrived. I was in a lot of pain and very unwell. However when the driver didn’t start his engine we asked why he wasn’t moving. His response was that he had to wait until a certain time as he was to adhering to his timetable. This was very late in the evening and as far as I’m aware he wasn’t waiting for any other patient. Certainly no other patient joined us. We didn’t know if we were going to be waiting for 5 minutes or an hour as the driver was very rude and dismissive.


As I said I have already commented on my stay at the hospital. What made my initial visit to Outpatients exceptional was Dr Pattle. I had a last minute, emergency appointment booked for 5pm, we got stuck in bad traffic and didn’t arrive until 7pm but she would have waited however long it took for us to arrive. She was very kind, caring and professional, just fantastic really.
